This deer and I became friends when his mother brought him into our yard shortly after he was born. We would see them everyday and when he became a little older, more steady on his feet, I would cut apples up eventually being able to feed them from my hand. His name, of course, was Bucky with mom being Bambi. All I had to do was call their names and they would appear waiting patiently for these treats.
In the field of flowers, I decided to try my hand at taking some pictures. The picture was taken - trying to get a close up - and at the time I was looking through the viewfinder and not using the Live view LCD. Didn't like what I had done BUT, my husband did and just enhanced the color and this is what it turned out. We had it blown up and placed in a frame which now hangs in my kitchen. He was very proud of my work and that made me feel great!
Mishka, the most loveable husky I knew. This isn't a "bad dog" picture, this is a "I don't feel good" picture. She was sick, poisoned by our landlord's parents out of pure hatered of animals. I had to get a picture of her so Mishka would always be with us in spirit.
